MEET OBLIGATIONS | SURVEYS

With surveys, KenCube gathers structured feedback from the workforce, from a quick pulse check to the annual employee survey. The analysis shows the results for each question and makes clear where action is needed.

Survey design

• Sections as topic blocks
• Scale questions, single and multiple choice, and free text
• Custom answer labels for the scales
• Optional importance rating for each question
• Details such as location or age group for later comparisons

In practice: For the annual employee survey, HR sets up topic blocks ranging from the workplace to leadership. For each statement, employees rate both their satisfaction and its importance. Location and department are asked as a selection.

Running surveys and anonymity

• Survey period with start and end date
• Target group: everyone, specific groups or individuals
• Voluntary or mandatory
• Anonymous, with results shown only above a minimum number of responses
• Participant list can be hidden completely
• Notification at the start and reminder before the end

In practice: The survey runs for three weeks and is anonymous. Anyone who has not yet taken part gets a reminder in the app one week before it closes. Results for a small team only appear once enough responses have come in.

Analysis

• Charts and key figures for each question
• Summary for each topic block
• Comparison between groups, such as locations
• Portfolio chart based on rating and importance
• Filters that apply to all analyses
• PDF of the analysis and Excel export of the results

In practice: In the portfolio chart, internal communication sits in the top left: high importance, low satisfaction. The comparison shows that one location is mainly affected. Management discusses the results with the leadership team using the PDF of the analysis.

Required modules

Surveys are part of the add-on module Compliance & Quality Management. Simple polls directly in posts, by contrast, are included in the core modules. All add-on modules can be added at any time and rolled out step by step.
