How the price of KenCube is made up
The price of KenCube consists of the monthly license costs and the one-time setup costs for the basic setup.
The license always includes the Platform Foundation and the three core modules. This gives you a fully equipped digital platform with news, knowledge, documents, chat, events and org chart, ready to use right away. Add-on modules extend the platform with further areas such as forms, compliance, training or projects as soon as you need them.
Core modules and add-on modules
The core modules Communication & Knowledge Hub, Share Office Documents and Organization Map cover communication, documents and company structure. The add-on modules Self-Service with Ticket System, Compliance & Quality Management, Onboarding & E‑Learning, Project Management and AI Companion run on the same platform through KenCube's central permission management. They can be added at any time, then apply to the entire license and are rolled out step by step.
The AI Companion works across all activated modules. The organization decides per person who may use the AI, for example only after AI training. This supports you with the AI literacy requirements of the EU AI Act. If you prefer, the AI can also be deactivated entirely. KenCube is fully usable without AI.

- AI usage, including via MCP, with the AI Companion add-on module: KenCube's own AI is billed via token packages. With an external AI provider, billing runs directly with that provider.
Term and cancellation
The standard term is one year. You can cancel up to the end of the term, otherwise the contract renews for another year.
License cost examples
Licenses come in user tiers: up to 500 users in steps of 25, up to 1,000 users in steps of 50, and in steps of 100 beyond that. The smallest tier covers 25 users.
The table shows three examples of the ongoing license costs for the base system, that is the Platform Foundation and the three core modules Communication & Knowledge Hub, Share Office Documents and Organization Map, including EU hosting and personal support.

Prices exclude VAT and one-time basic setup costs
On top of this comes the one-time basic setup. KenCube sets up the platform together with your organization, trains the people in charge and helps you over the first hurdles. After that, personal support takes over, which is included in the ongoing license costs under the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Cost-effectiveness (ROI)
Time savings are a key factor in the cost-effectiveness of any business. When knowledge is found faster, follow-up questions disappear and processes become more efficient, the workload goes down and so do costs. With license costs of less than € 3 per person per month, a single hour of work saved already delivers economic value more than ten times higher than the ongoing license costs.
A sample calculation with 500 users: the license costs are € 899 per month. If each person saves just one working hour per month, at average labor costs in the EU of € 34.90 per hour (EU average 2025 according to the German Federal Statistical Office), that equals a value of around € 17,450. The benefit is therefore more than 19 times the license costs.
There are further benefits that are hard to express in numbers: fewer errors thanks to up-to-date information and instructions, relief for key people, faster onboarding and stronger employee retention.
