Privacy notice regarding: KenCube App
Our apps use no tracking whatsoever, neither by us nor by third parties. We use technically necessary session cookies to enable the assignment of users to their KenCube accounts in the respective intranet.
Push notifications can only be sent to devices if users have permitted this function for KenCube. When the app is first installed, a one-time connection is established with the Google Firebase server, which delivers the push notifications. If the prompt asking whether push notifications should be used is declined, no further data is transmitted to the Firebase server.
No third-party statistics tracking is integrated into our apps. Apart from the push service described above, no data is passed on to third parties, not even in part.

This website uses only a technically necessary session cookie, which is required for the basic functionality of the site and is automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
To analyze and improve our website, we use Matomo, a privacy-friendly web analytics solution that is operated locally on our server. No cookies are set, and no personal data is collected or stored.
Getting in touch
Various options are available for getting in touch, for example contact forms, telephone, email or post. In this context, we process the contact data and other data provided exclusively for the purpose of communication. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Session cookies
While the website is being used, so-called session cookies are stored in the browser and are deleted again when the browser is closed. The storage of cookies can be prevented by an appropriate setting in the browser software. In this case, it may not be possible to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
Web analytics with Matomo (without cookies)
To improve user-friendliness and for the statistical evaluation of the use of our website, we use Matomo, an open-source web analytics software. We operate Matomo ourselves (“on-premise”), i.e. all data remains on our own servers and is not transmitted to third parties.
Data is collected entirely without tracking cookies. Instead, information (e.g. browser type used, operating system, pages visited, duration of the visit, referrer and campaign parameters in the URL) is analyzed in anonymized form. The IP address is shortened in a privacy-compliant manner and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the person.
Matomo enables us, for example, to see whether a website visit came about through one of our advertising measures (e.g. newsletter or online ads). This information is used exclusively for the internal evaluation of the effectiveness of our campaigns.
This data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interest lies in the user-friendly design and optimization of our website and in measuring the success of our own marketing measures.
Rights of data subjects
Data subjects have the right to obtain information about which personal data concerning them is stored, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Upon written request, we will provide full information about the stored data and will be happy to answer questions about its collection, storage and use. Contact: support(at)kencube.com.
In addition, there is the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in Austria with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
