Privacy notice regarding: KenCube App

No tracking by us or by third parties is used in our apps. We use technically necessary session cookies to enable the assignment of users to their KenCube accounts in the respective intranet.

Push notifications can only be sent to devices if users have permitted this functionality for KenCube. When the app is first installed, a one-time connection is established with the Google Firebase server, which handles the push notifications. If the user declines the prompt asking whether push notifications should be used, no further data will be transmitted to the Firebase server.

No third-party statistics tracking is integrated into our apps. No data (of any kind) is passed on to third parties, not even in part.

You have the right to obtain information about which personal data relating to you is stored. Upon written request, we will provide you with full information about this stored data, correct, block or delete your data, and will be happy to answer your questions regarding collection, storage and use.

This website uses exclusively a technically necessary session cookie that is required for the basic functionality of the site and is automatically deleted when the browser is closed.

For the analysis and improvement of our web offering, we use Matomo – a privacy-friendly web analytics solution that is operated locally on our server. No cookies are set, and no personal data is collected or stored.

Getting in touch

You have various options to get in touch with us – for example, via contact forms, by telephone, by email or by post. In this context, we process the contact and other data you provide exclusively for the purpose of communication. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

Session Cookies

While using the website, so-called session cookies are stored in your browser, which are deleted again when you close your browser. You can prevent the storage of cookies by an appropriate setting in your browser software; however, we point out that in this case it may not be possible to fully use all functions of this website.

Web analytics with Matomo (without cookies)

To improve user-friendliness and for the statistical evaluation of the use of our website, we use Matomo, an open-source web analytics software. Matomo is operated by us in-house (“on-premise”), i.e. all data remains on our own servers and is not transmitted to third parties.

Data collection takes place entirely without tracking cookies. Instead, information (e.g. browser type used, operating system, pages visited, duration of visit, referrer and campaign parameters in the URL) is analysed in an anonymised form. Your IP address is shortened in a privacy-compliant manner and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

Matomo allows us, for example, to track whether a website visit took place via one of our advertising measures (e.g. newsletter or online ads). This information is used exclusively for the internal evaluation of the effectiveness of our campaigns.

The processing of this data is based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our interest lies in the user-friendly design and optimisation of our website as well as in measuring the success of our own marketing measures.
