MEET OBLIGATIONS | PROJECTS

With projects, KenCube plans and manages related initiatives directly on the platform, from initial planning to the status report. Dates, tasks, documents and coordination are all in one place.

Planning

• Portfolios and programs for an overview of all initiatives
• Phases, tasks, subtasks and milestones
• Timeline with dependencies between tasks
• Templates for recurring projects
• Import from CSV, Excel or Microsoft Project

In practice: IT is planning to equip all locations with new notebooks. Phases and tasks come from a template, and delivery and installation depend on each other in the timeline. If a delivery is delayed, the project manager sees right away which steps are affected.

Teamwork and execution

• Board, list, calendar and timeline views
• Owner, status, priority and deadline for each task
• Checklists with progress
• "Waiting" flag with a reason
• Project manager and project team roles, also for groups
• Create a task directly from a ticket

In practice: A technician reports via ticket that network sockets are missing at the new location. The project manager turns it into a task in the project, and the link to the ticket is kept. The team sees the task on the board right away.

Overview and coordination

• Dashboard with your own tasks, milestones and open action items
• Status reports with traffic lights
• Project communication in dedicated channels
• File storage and information for each project
• Record external stakeholders such as customers or suppliers
• Create tasks by instruction in the AI Chat

In practice: Management sees all ongoing projects with their traffic lights on the dashboard. For one project, the status report gives the reason for the delay: a supplier is behind schedule. The related coordination happens in the project channel instead of long email chains.

Required modules

Projects are part of the add-on module Project Management. Creating tasks from tickets also requires the add-on module Self-Service with Ticket System, and creating them via the AI Chat requires the add-on module AI Companion. All add-on modules can be added at any time and rolled out step by step.
