REACH EVERYONE | EMPLOYEE APP & BROWSER
KenCube runs in the browser at the workplace and in the KenCube app on smartphones and tablets, with the same content, permissions and accounts. This page shows which access options exist and how to set them up.
Two access points, one platform
- All activated modules in the browser and in the app
- New posts visible on all devices right away
- Full editing and administration in the browser
- Access even without a fixed PC workstation or a company email address
- Navigation on smartphones and tablets with a bottom bar and side menu
In practice: At a care home, the team works in shifts without their own PCs. The nursing staff read news, work instructions and events in the app. The administration maintains the same content in the browser.
KenCube app for iOS and Android
- For smartphones and tablets from the Apple App Store and Google Play
- Distribution via mobile device management (MDM) on company devices
- Installation on personal devices possible (BYOD)
- Sign-in with PIN or biometrics
- Push notifications for posts, messages and tasks
- Installation links and QR codes for everyone under "My Area"
In practice: A logistics company puts up a notice with a QR code in the break room. The drivers scan it with their own smartphones, install the app and sign in with their credentials.
Installation from the browser (PWA)
- Install KenCube as an app directly from the browser, without an app store
- On smartphones, tablets and desktops, with its own icon and window
- Push notifications even without the store app
- Dedicated back button and "Reload page" in the app window
- No offline storage of content, for privacy and security reasons
In practice: At reception, KenCube should start like a standalone program. The team installs it from the browser as an app on the desktop. Chat messages arrive as push notifications, even when the window is in the background.
Your own app with name and logo
- White-label app with its own app name and app icon
- For iOS and Android, on smartphones and tablets
- Address of your KenCube application preconfigured
- Rollout via MDM or your own store links
- Available as an additional service, not included in the license
In practice: A company gives the app its own name and uses the company logo as the icon. It is instantly recognizable on the smartphone, and nobody has to type in an address when signing in.
