Reach Everyone | News & Posts
With news and posts, KenCube keeps the entire workforce informed about what is happening in the company, in the browser and in the app. This page shows how posts are created, how they are published and how employees respond to them.
Creating posts
- Post types for articles, images, videos, audio, website links and files
- Stored in main areas, workspaces and folders
- Authorship freely assignable, including to departments and groups
- Create several files as separate posts with a single upload
- Automatic preview image for uploaded videos
- Maps with locations directly in the post
In practice: For the company anniversary, management records a video message. The communications team uploads the video and the preview image is created automatically. The managing director appears as the author, not the person who created the post.
Publishing and highlighting
- Publish immediately or at a scheduled time
- Automatic unpublishing on a set date
- Editorial approval, can be enabled per workspace
- Breaking News for particularly important announcements
- Pin posts so they stay at the top
- Correction mode for minor edits without a new notification
In practice: A new works agreement takes effect on the first of the month. HR writes the post a week in advance and schedules publication for the effective date. Before that, the editor-in-chief reviews the text in the approval workflow.
Versions and editorial overview
- Automatic versioning with version comparison
- Restore earlier versions with one click
- Overview of all your own posts, including scheduled and archived ones
- Submitted posts at a glance for the editor-in-chief
- Search, filters and sorting in the editorial overview
In practice: While the news item on the new parking rules is being revised, a paragraph is deleted by mistake. The version comparison shows the change right away, and the previous version is restored with one click.
Reactions, comments and polls
- One-click reactions with a freely selectable reaction set
- Comments on the post, with notification of the authors
- Comment function can be enabled as needed
- Moderate, edit or remove comments
- Simple polls for a quick pulse check
- Sort by reactions or by most read
In practice: Three dates are up for the summer party. The team adds a poll to the post and sees within a few days which date suits most people. The organizers answer questions about getting there directly in the comments.
