BUILD AND RUN | STRUCTURE & DESIGN
Structure and design determine how the platform is organized and how it looks. KenCube adapts to the company's structure and visual identity, without any programming.
Structure and navigation
- Main areas as the top level of navigation
- Any number of workspaces and folders per area
- Modules such as the ticket system or projects as separate main areas, even several times
- Dedicated owners for each area
- Areas visible only to specific groups
In practice: A hospital sets up main areas for news, knowledge, nursing and administration. Nursing gets a separate workspace for each ward, managed by the ward manager. The nursing areas do not appear in the administration's navigation.
Content display
- Lists, small or large tiles
- Default settings for each overview page
- Flat or hierarchical display
- Sorting by title, date and other criteria
In practice: Forms appear as a compact list, sorted alphabetically. News shows large tiles with images, newest first. Both are preset for each overview page.
Corporate design
- Colors for menu, accents, links and buttons
- Separate color schemes for light and dark mode
- Logo and a custom-designed login area
- Custom domain possible
- Branded employee app with its own app name and the company logo as app icon, for an additional fee
In practice: KenCube defines the colors together with the company during the Basic Setup. On the login screen, employees see their own logo and a photo of the company premises. In dark mode, the company colors appear in their own matching shades.
Multi-tenancy for groups of companies
- Separate logo and colors for each subsidiary, with a neutral login for everyone
- Separate main menu areas and dashboard for each tenant
- Shared areas for everyone, such as company structure or group-wide knowledge
- Designed for groups with subsidiaries, for locations the permission system is enough
In practice: A group with three subsidiaries works on one shared KenCube platform. After logging in, each workforce sees the logo, colors, menu and dashboard of its own company. The org chart and group-wide knowledge are the same for everyone.
